Visit of TURKSOY Secretary General Sultan Raev to ICESCO Headquarters

TURKSOY Secretary General Sultan Raev came together with  ICESCO Director General Dr. Salim M. AlMalik at ICESCO Headquarters in Rabat. 

In the meeting Secretary General Sultan Raev noted the  importance of his first  visit to ICESCO and thanked Dr. Salim M. AlMalik for hosting the events dedicated to the 300th anniversary of the birthday of Magtumguly Fragi.

Issues discussed in  the meeting pertained to the importance of cooperation between the two institutions amongst others. Secretary General Raev said, ‘We are happy to be cooperating with you in the organization of this valuable event’ and also expressed his satisfaction as to the fruitful  continuation of the cooperation between ICESCO and TURKSOY.

The commemoration of Maghtumguly and the celebration of this important historical moment through cultural events is of great importance for both sides. The visit paved the way towards the further strengthening of ties between TURKSOY and ICESCO.
