Visit of the President of the Hungarian Turan Foundation András Biro to TURKSOY Headquarters

Within the framework of his visit to Türkiye, the President of the Hungarian Turan Foundation Mr. András Biro visited the International Organisation of Turkic Culture (TURKSOY) and met with Deputy Secretary General Sayit Yusuf.

During the meeting,  Deputy Secretary General  Yusuf and President Biro discussed issues pertaining to  in  cultural relations between TURKSOY and Hungary. Mr. Yusuf who pointed out that a large number of events have been organised in cooperation of TURKSOY with Hungary, Mr. Yusuf expressed his wish to further foster these activities in the coming years.

Stating that TURKSOY is the most important cultural bridge of the Hungarian people with the Turkic World, the President of the Hungarian Turan Foundation Mr. András Biro said that a cooperation protocol was signed by TURKSOY and the Hungarian Turan Foundation last year and added that the Foundation strongly appreciates the organization of joint projects  together  with TURKSOY. President Biro who further stressed the Foundation's wish to further pursue and foster  these cooperation activities with TURKSOY also handed over a letter of  invitation to Deputy Secretary General  Yusuf to attend the 8th Great Hun-Turkic Congress to be held in Hungary this year and underlined the fact that TURKSOY counts on the contribution of TURKSOY to ensure broad participation of the Turkic World in the latter.
