TURKSOY Secretary General Sultan Raev attended the 4th Diplomacy Forum of Antalya

TURKSOY Secretary General Sultan Raev attended the  Diplomacy Forum of Antalya held for the fourth time this year. Within the scope of the Forum, which attracted more than 6 thousand participants from 155 countries and was closely followed up by international diplomatic circles, Secretary General Raev held various bilateral meetings and exchanged views on cultural cooperation in the Turkic World. 

This year, the Forum which took place at the NEST Congress Center in Belek, the Touristic Region of Antalya, more than 50 sessions  were held in various formats over 3 days, addressing issues related to different regions of the world ranging from the Middle East to Asia Pacific as well as from Africa to Latin America alonng with prominent topics of the global agenda, including climate change, combating terrorism, humanitarian aid, digitalization, food security and artificial intelligence. 

Secretary General Raev who delivered a speech on  “The Role of Culture in Today's World: Unifying or Dividing?” at the panel discussion stressed  that culture should play a unifying role through common values and history instead of dividing societies and said that TURKSOY's activities carried out with this understanding have found a strong response in international platforms, especially in the Turkic World. Raev also pointed out that cultural diplomacy is one of the most effective tools paving the way towards peaceful dialogue in today's complex global issues.
