TURKSOY Secretary General Raev met with officials in Giresun

Within the framework of his visit to the Black Sea region of Türkiye, Secretary General Raev paid a visit to  the Governor of Giresun  Mr. Fatih Serdengeçti on Wednesday July  24th, 2024.

During the visit, Secretary General Raev and Governor Serdengeçti exchanged views on the activities carried out and to be carried out by TURKSOY in Giresun. Mr. Serdengeçti also informed Mr. Raev about the rich historical and cultural heritage of Giresun.

In the meeting, which took place in a warm atmosphere, Mr. Raev informed Governor Serdengeçti about TURKSOY and its activities. Mr. Raev who also said  that Giresun is one of exceptional cities in the Black Sea region due to its history and as well as its geographical position  merging forests with the sea  expressed his satisfaction as to the fruitful visit.

In his post regarding the visit, Governor Serdengeçti made the following statements : "We hosted Mr Sultan Raev, former Minister of Culture and Information of the Kyrgyz Republic and Secretary General of TURKSOY and Mr Sayit Yusuf, Deputy Secretary General of TURKSOY in our Governorate and exchanged ideas. I would like to thank our distinguished guests for their kind visit and wish them success in their work."
