TURKSOY Deputy Secretary General Sait Yusuf paid a visit to the Governor of Karaman Mehmet Fatih Çiçekli

TURKSOY Deputy Secretary General Sait Yusuf paid a  visit to the Governor of Karaman Mehmet Fatih Çiçekli in his office. During the meeting, which took place in a warm atmosphere, Mr Yusuf conveyed the warmest greetings of TURKSOY Secretary General Sultan Raev to the Governor and expressed his appreciation as to the strong interest  of citizens of Karaman, the capital of the Turkic language in TURKSOY and its activities.
 

Issues discussed in  the meeting pertained to the active participation of TURKSOY in  events to be carried out to celebrate the Turkish Language Day. Deputy Secretary General Sait Yusuf said that TURKSOY will fulfil its duties during the Turkish Language Day to be held in Karaman, the capital of the Turkish language, and emphasised that such events are of great importance for the preservation of the Turkic culture and language.
 

The visit was considered as a positive step in the development of cooperation to strengthen the cultural and linguistic unity of the Turkic World, including Karaman. The close cooperation between the two institutions will make an important contribution to the transfer of Turkish language and culture to future generations.
