Third International Scientific Forum held in Almaty

The Third International Scientific Forum dedicated to the Nowruz Tradition and organized with the support of the Ministry of Culture and Information of the Republic of Kazakhstan and the International Organization of Turkic Culture (TURKSOY) was held at the Central State Museum of the Republic of Kazakhstan on  March 14th-15th,  2025 in Almaty, Kazakhstan. 

The welcoming speeches of  the official opening session on the first day of the forum were delivered by Galiya Temirton, the Deputy Director of the Central State Museum of the Republic of Kazakhstan, Evren Müdderisoğlu, the Consul General of the Republic of Türkiye in Almaty, Anar Hüseyinzade, the Representative of the Republic of Azerbaijan in Almaty and Hüseyin Ağazade, the Cultural Attaché of the Consulate General of Iran in Almaty.

Speaking on behalf of TURKSOY, Secretary General Sultan Raev and the Head of the Department for Relations with Turkic Speaking Communities Dr. Baris Javid Mövsümlü offered  a commemorative present to the Museum on behalf of the  Secretariat General of the Organization.
 

The welcoming speeches were followed by  a presentation on  activities of the Association of Museums of TURKSOY. Upon approval of  applications they submitted, the directors of the Central State Museum of the Republic of Kazakhstan, the Tangbali State Museum of History, Culture and Nature and the Esik State Museum of History and Culture received  the Certificates of Membership issued by the  Union of Museums of TURKSOY for the afore-mentioned museums.
