Secretary General Sultan Raev met with the Rector of the Al-Farabi University

In the meeting, Secretary General Sultan Raev exchanged views with the Chairman of the Board and Rector of the Al-Farabi University Mr. Janseit Tuymebayev on issues pertaining to the Youth Forum of Turkic Countries scheduled to be hosted by Al-Farabi University on November 20th-23rd, 2024.

Representatives of the Almaty Centre for Creative Industries were also invited to the meeting. during which the programme of the first forum was discussed.

Within the framework of this important meeting a trilateral cooperation agreement was signed between TURKSOY, the Al-Farabi University and the Almaty Centre for Creative Industries.

The Rector of the Al-Farabi University Mr. Janseit Tuymebayev expressed his gratitude to Secretary General Sultan Raev for his strong appreciation as to  activities carried out by  the University.

Speaking at the meeting, Secretary General Sultan Raev said that TURKSOY's willingness to cooperate with the Al-Farabi University for the organisation of the  Youth Forum of Turkic Countries is not a coincidence and added that  “The Al-Farabi University is a world-class university and one of the leading educational institutions in Kazakhstan. It is our special preference to work with a scientifically versatile and world-renowned university.”
