Secretary General Raev met with ambassadors of the Turkic World in Berlin

On  March 17th,  2025, TURKSOY Secretary General Sultan Raev came together with Ambassadors of TURKSOY member countries based in Berlin in a meeting held at the Azerbaijan Cultural Centre. The visit was organised within the framework of the coordination process of the panel ‘Contributions of the Turkic World to World Science and Culture’ and other cultural events planned to be held in Berlin in June.

The meeting gathered the Ambassador of the Republic of Azerbaijan H. E. Mr. Nasimi Aghayev, the Ambassador of the Republic of Kazakhstan H. E. Mr. Nurlan Onzhanov, the Ambassador of the Kyrgyz Republic H. E. Mr. Omurbek Tekebaev, the Ambassador of the Republic of Uzbekistan H. E. Mrs. Dilshod Akhatov, the Ambassador of the Republic of Türkiye H. E. Mr. Gökhan Turan, the Ambassador of Turkmenistan H. E. Mr. Berdymurat Redjepov and the  Coordinator of the Yunus Emre Institute in Germany Mr. Samet Kapısız.
 

At the meeting, participants discussed  activities of TURKSOY aimed at strengthening multilateral cultural cooperation and exchanged views on outlooks for the comprehensive cultural programme to be held in Berlin to introduce  the rich cultural heritage of the Turkic World as well as its achievements in  the fields of science and art to the international community.

Following the meeting, H. E. Mr. Nasimi Aghayev, the Ambassador of the Republic of Azerbaijan to Berlin hosted an iftar dinner in honour of  Ambassadors of the Turkic World on the occasion of the visit of TURKSOY Secretary General Sultan Raev.
