Message issued by Secretary General Raev to congratulate the Turkic World on the occasion of the Nowruz Feast

Below is the  message  issued by Secretary General Raev to congratulate the Turkic World on the occasion of the Nowruz Feast:

Distinguished citizens of the Turkic World, dear friends,

From the bottom of my heart, I congratulate you all and wish you a happy  Nowruz Feast as we celebrate this day which stands for the revival of nature and announces the arrival of spring. On this day, our hopes are revived and our brotherhood ties are strengthened.

For centuries, Nowruz, the common heritage of the Turkic World, has been one of the strongest symbols of our unity and solidarity, friendship and brotherhood. Celebrated by peoples living on a vast territory reaching out from the steppes of Turkestan to Anatolia and from the Caucasus to the Balkans, this ancient holiday is one of the most important traditional values of ours as it keeps our common culture alive and transmits our deep-rooted history from the past to the future.

In line with its commitment to the preservation and promotion of our common cultural heritage which brings Turkic peoples together, TURKSOY keeps the spirit of Nowruz alive to introduce this auspicious day to the whole world and pass on this tradition to future generations. 

We are aware of  this precious responsibility and we will continue to convey Nowruz messages of peace, friendship and brotherhood to audiences worldwide with events we carry out to keep our common culture alive.

On this beautiful spring day, I wish Nowruz to bring prosperity, health and happiness to the entire Turkic World.
