Title of "Friendship Ambassador of the Peoples' Assembly of Kazakhstan" awarded to TURKSOY Secretary General Sultan Raev
The Peoples' Assembly of Kazakhstan awarded the title of "Friendship Ambassador" to TURKSOY Secretary General Sultan Raev in recognition of his contribution to the strengthening and promotion of the Kazak model of social cohesion and national unity in the country and abroad.
Within the framework of his official visit to Bishkek, TURKSOY Secretary General Sultan Raev met with H. E. Rapil Joshybaev, the Ambassador of Kazakhstan to Bishkek.
In the meeting which took place at the Embassy of Kazakhstan, Ambassador Joshybaev congratulated Mr. Raev for his recent election to the post of Secretary General of TURKSOY and handed over to him the certificate of "Friendship Ambassador" which he has been awarded by the Peoples' Assembly of Kazakhstan.
Issues discussed by TURKSOY Secretary General Sultan Raev and Ambassador Rapil Joshybaev during the meeting pertained to activities to be carried out to promote the historical heritage of the Turkic World as well as to the cultural cooperation between TURKSOY and Kazakhstan.
Secretary General Raev who expressed his gratitude to the Kazak administration as well as to the Peoples' Assembly of Kazakhstan for the title of “Friendship Ambassador” which they awarded to him further stressed that he will always do his very best to be worthy of this highly prestigious title.
Secretary General Raev who also gave some information to Ambassador Joshybaev about activities foreseen to be carried out by TURKSOY in the near future added that within this framework, a "Turan Theater Festival" will be carried out with the participation of famous artists of the Turkic World in Turkistan, the spiritual capital of the Turkic World and further said that joint projects will be carried out in cooperation of the Khoja Akhmet Yassawi International Kazak-Turkish University.
H. E. Mr. Johsybaev, the Ambassador of Kazakhstan to Bishkek expressed his belief in the fact that as a Friendship Ambassador, Secretary General Raev will make strong contributions to the development of cultural and human ties in the Turkic World.
Both parties also exchanged views upon the cooperation between the Republic of Kazakhstan and TURKSOY and discussed various aspects pertaining to the preparations of the Fourth World Nomadic Games to be held in Bursa this year as well as to events to be carried out in 2023 to celebrate the 30th anniversary of the establishment of TURKSOY.
