Prof. Dr. Unan further quoted Murad Adjy’s words saying: “The Turkic World is vast and mysterious. This world is multi-faceted like a diamond, each and every side of it is a nation. Azerbaijanis, Altais, Balkars, Bashkorts, Gagauz, Kazakhs, Karaims, Karachays, Kyrgyz, Crimean Tatars, Kumyks, Tatars, Tyvans, Turkmens, Uzbeks, Uygurs, Khakas, Chuvashs, Shors, Yakuts… It is just impossible to remmember each and every one of them at once. The Turkic World gathers tens of peoples which all originate from one and the same root and yet have their unique, typical characteristics of their own. Phonetically speaking, there are some differences in the way they pronounce some words but two thousand years ago, they all spoke the same language.”
