"Outstanding Service Award" for TURKSOY Secretary General Kasseinov
The Secretary General of the International Organization of Turkic Culture (TURKSOY) Prof. Dusen Kasseinov received the "Outstanding Service Award of the Ministry of Foreign Affairs of the Republic of Turkey" in recognition of his contribution to the preservation of Turkic language, culture and art.
The 25th anniversary of diplomatic ties among Turkey and its kindred countries Azerbaijan, Belarus, Georgia, Kazakhstan, Kyrgyzstan, Moldova, Uzbekistan, Tajikistan, Turkmenistan and Ukraine was celebrated in Ankara. The special event organized by the Minister of Foreign Affairs of the Republic of Turkey Mevlut Cavusoglu in the Ankara Palas gathered the Minister of Foreign Affairs Mevlut Cavusoglu and TURKSOY Secretary General Dusen Kasseinov along with the Ambassadors of 10 countries which declared their independence from the USSR in 1992 and many diplomatic representatives from various other countries.

Mr. Cavusoglu who stressed that 25 years have elapsed since the establishment of TURKSOY which carries out activities to preserve and transmit Turkic culture to future generations extended his gratitude to Prof. Dusen Kasseinov who has been the Secretyary General of TURKSOY since 2008 for his service and contribution regarding the preservation and promotion of Turkic culture. Mr. Cavusoglu handed over the "Outstanding Service Award of the Ministry of Foreign Affairs of the Republic of Turkey", to the Secretary General of TURKSOY Prof. Dusen Kasseinov.
In the speech he delivered at the award ceremony, Prof. Kasseinov expressed his happiness to be celebrating the 25th anniversary of diplomatic ties among Turkey and its kindred countries and stressed his wish as to lasting brotherhood, friendship and peace in the region.
Kasseinov said: "I would like to stress that I am taking this medal on behalf of all artists and professionals working in the field of culture because I owe them a large part of my success.”
Prof. Kasseinov reminded of the fact that the Headquarters of TURKSOY which is the UNESCO of the Turkic World are based in Turkey and extended his gratitude to the Ministry of Foreign Affairs and the Ministry of Culture and Tourism of the Republic of Turkey as well as to all institutions and embassies in Turkey for their strong support and contribution to TURKSOY.
Prof. Kasseinov who expressed his special gratitude to the Turkish State and people said: "I would like to express my deepest gratitude to the President of the Republic of Turkey, to all institutions and organizations as well as to all officials in Turkey. Indeed, their sincere support and contribution gives us strength. I also owe my gratitude to the Turkish people for its hospitality and devotion. TURKSOY and its entire staff is doing its very best to support and contribute to this solidarity.
