Sayit Yusuf
Mr. Sait Yusuf who was born on January 1st, 1965 in Trabzon went to high school in Sakarya and graduated from the Department of International Relations of the Faculty of Political Sciences of the Ankara University in 1988.
His professional career began in 1989 at the Undersecretariat of Foreign Trade, Export Development Study Centre (IGEME) where he worked as an expert. In 1994, he was temporarily assigned to work at the Prime Ministry. Between 1994 and 1996, he pursued his career as an Associate Counsellor at the Consultancy of the Prime Ministry for the Balkans, and between 1996 and 1999, he worked as an Advisor to the Minister of State in Charge of the Turkic World. In 1999, he was appointed as a Counsellor to the Prime Ministry and worked as Chief Consultant on the Turkic World for relevant Ministers of State until 2007. Between 2007 and 2016, he pursued his career as an Advisor to the Prime Ministry. From December 6th, 2016 to June 10th, 2023, he served as Vice-President of the Presidency for Turks Abroad and Related Communities (YTB) where he was not only in charge of the management of scholarships awarded by Türkiye but also contributed to the coordination of activities aiming at kindred and akin communities.
On June 12th, 2023, he was appointed as Deputy Secretary General of TURKSOY, the International Organisation of Turkic Culture upon approval by the Minister of Culture and Tourism of the Republic of Turkey, Mr. Mehmet Nuri Ersoy.
